How to Become Involved

Mental Health can seem hard to become involved in if you don't already suffer from a disorder since as said in the name, mental health is mental. One way to help support those around you who suffer is to be there for support. Make sure none of your friends, family, and loved ones are showing signs that are listed on the Warning Signs page. If any of those symptoms are shown, then contact an adult or therapist. Another way to help mantain a healthy mental health is to normalize therapy and medication that can be used to treat these disorders. A final reason is to talk to loved ones who are suffering to make sure they are okay. For those who are suffering: the suicide hotline is 1-800-273-8255.
